In the Support Team orientation you gain an understanding of the team approach and how working as a team can increase what individuals are capable of doing.

During the 3 hour orientation we will cover the Support Team model, walk through ways to provide practical, social, quality of life, and emotional and/or spiritual support, how to set up healthy boundaries and limits, understanding some of the aspects of living with short or long-term illness, and how to support each other as a team over time.

The orientation mixes discussion and group exercises.  Each person wanting to volunteer on a Support Team must attend an orientation.

There is no cost to attend.
